SLHS John Maclean Conference

18 November 2023

To mark the passing of one hundred years since the death of John Maclean (1879-1923), the Scottish Labour History Society (SLHS) is organising this conference, and bringing together leading figures to explore and discuss Maclean’s life and work, the causes he fought for, his impact on popular culture and his relevance today. This will be the major commemorative event of the Maclean centenary: book your place to be part of it. There is a graded system of fees: donors to the Conference Fund (previously circulated) attend FREE; SLHS members pay a reduced fee of £10; those who wish to attend the conference and join SLHS pay £15; and non-members wishing to attend pay £20. The fee covers the full programme, together with buffet lunch.
